Utilizing technology is a way your business can stay ahead, whether it be from the proper ERP system, perhaps a mobile solution to improve efficiency, or it could simply be having the right equipment (in house or in the cloud) that can run your operations efficiently. To prove the point, we recently completed an infrastructure overhaul for a customer and shortly after completion, our customer reported that employees were coming to them looking for more to do since the efficiencies gained from the upgrade allowed them to complete their normal day to day tasks more quickly.
User education is also an area where efficiencies can be gained and is often overlooked. Are your employees well trained on the systems you have in place? We would advise all users to watch this video as a reminder of the dangers of the Internet as well as give them some tools to help combat those threats.
