The Colden Company, Inc. was founded in May of 2003 with the vision of helping organizations effectively utilize technology with a focus on business continuity planning. Our mission is to provide the best customer service in the industry.
Founder, James Lapointe, is recognized by the Disaster Recovery Institute as a Certified Business Continuity Planner. He has also authored The Colden Company's Modular Business Continuity System that allows a business to prepare for the unexpected in phases and within a realistic budget. Jim has utilized this method with numerous companies and assisted them in their disaster recovery preparations - and the reference list is growing fast.
Besides holding an MBA, Jim also has a wealth of experience in many IT arenas. He is certified by IBM as an AIX administrator, network and hardware certified by CompTIA (A+, N+), and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. With ten plus years experience working as an IT professional, Jim brings an understanding of technology and issues facing businesses today as well as an unparalelled attention to detail and attentive and personalized customer service.
